On Monday, the sugar of Gopalganj Sidhwalia Sugar Mill will first go to Kandla Port in Gujarat from the rail warehouse and then from there it will be sent to several Gulf countries including London via the sea route. Regarding this, the Siwan administration informed the mill administration by placing the wagons of the goods train in the warehouse for loading, then the loading of sugar in the goods train was started amidst tight security of the Railway Protection Force. At the same time, the Railway Protection Force remained fully prepared at the time of Siwan loading.
How many tonnes of sugar was sent abroad
The sugar consignment has been loaded in 42 wagons in which about 2652 tonnes of sugar has been loaded. Railways have earned a revenue of about Rs 60 lakh 21 thousand from the export of sugar. This is an achievement for Siwan Railway Station. Hathua Rail Goods Warehouse was earlier identified for loading Sidhwalia Sugar Mill’s sugar on the goods train, but the sugar mill officials expressed their desire to load sugar from Siwan Warehouse. After this several discussions took place between the sugar mill officials and the railway officials. Last week, officials of Sidhwalia Sugar Mill along with railway officials had inspected the goods godown. During this, how the goods would be loaded, which way the truck would come from Sidhwalia, all this was inspected. After this, there was talk between the railway and sugar mill officials to load sugar from the godown. The second consignment of sugar was loaded on Monday and sent to Gujarat Port for overseas shipment. Then it will be sent by sea first to England and then to different Gulf countries.
